About Sharon
My clients would say I bring a creative positive energy and passion to my work. To design and deliver creative solutions with a focus not ‘fluff’ approach to coaching, change and people development. Shaped by my past, with a corporate career rooted in retail and being the daughter of a vegetarian Hindu father and a ‘welsh rarebit’ mother, it is no accident my methods all carry the voice of the customer and are underpinned by valuing equality and diversity.
My clients are national and international, across a range of sectors/cultures/industries in the public and private sector. All wanting to work at pace with change and master the challenge of adapting and enhancing their leadership style to the reality of the ‘new virtual global world’- a business backdrop of economic uncertainty, where so many complex and conflicting interests need to be balanced. I’ve earnt a reputation for quickly ‘getting stuck in’, ‘cutting through the clutter’, and being able to work with the power of ‘the vital few’ to bring clarity to what needs to be done. Always with a strong focus on ‘fit for purpose’, pragmatic outputs and defining what behavioural change needs to looks like in action.
Central to this approach is helping to create the spaces and formats that get people to communicate honestly with each other (and themselves). I’m proud of the energy I bring for staying on the lookout for theories and learning that help us to do this well. Particularly where English might not be my client’s first spoken language.
My experience has led me to work on a variety of leadership and change assignments- working individually with the Chief Exec, senior leaders and directors, in a coaching and consulting capacity, through to designing, shaping and delivering workshops/programmes that include ‘top teams’ and teams/individuals across the business as a whole.
I am an accredited Master Coach (highest level) and Assessor with the Association for Coaching, as well as being a Supervisor Coach (Coach to other Coaches). Trained in advanced facilitation, group coaching (Action learning), counselling skills, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Transactional Analysis (TA). I’m qualified in the use of Benchmarks 360o Feedback, Hogan and PPA (Personal Profile Analysis) and MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) psychometric instruments. I have an MSc in Organisational Consulting.
In real life, I can be spotted jogging in Windsor Great Park or cycling with my baby granddaughter. When I stop, I love to cook, garden and do volunteer work with the Samaritans charity, where I am a local volunteer.
